The Director
Abd Hazli Zainuddin is a Malaysian tennis player and coach. He is the current National Head Coach for Tennis Malaysia and the founder and head coach of the Tennis Town Academy.
Hazli started playing tennis at the age of 16. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the national number one in singles and doubles. He represented Malaysia in four Davis Cup campaigns between 2006 and 2010.
Hazli’s highest singles ranking was 351 in the world, achieved in 2009. He also reached a career-high doubles ranking of 400 in 2008. He has won several titles on the ITF Futures circuit.
After retiring from professional tennis, Hazli became a coach. He is certified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association (GPTCA). He has produced several national champions, including Imran Daniel Hazli, who reached the Top 10 in the Orange Bowl and Top 16 in the Eddie Herr.
Hazli is committed to developing Malaysia’s next generation of tennis players. He believes that Malaysia has the potential to produce world-class players, and he is working to make that happen.
